ADHD Drug Shortage Impacting Schroon

A nationwide shortage of medication that helps treat students with attention deficit disorders, is being felt in Schroon Lake.

Since May many states have reported shortages of drugs like Adderall and its generic cousins, but it is only recently that pharmacists in Upstate New York are having difficulty securing the medications, according to the Times Union.

"I have a few pills, but our warehouse is completely out of every strength," Rebecca Doyle, a Schroon Lake pharmacist and co-owner of Adirondack Apothecary told the Times Union.
